I. INTERNATIONAL BRAIDING COMPETITION
Tárnoky Hairdresser School organizes the First International Hair Braiding Competition in Budapest in Fonó on the 12th of May in 2013.
László Tárnoky, the director, founder and name-giver of the organizer school, will turn 94 this year. He is the most efficient Hungarian hairstylist of all times and the winner of numerous international and Hungarian hairdresser competitions. He is also the first hairstylist who was awarded the Knight of Cross from the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.
This event is the first step towards creating new traditions and an innovative series of events. Its long-term aim is to encourage young people to get acquainted with handicraft professions.
Tárnoky Hairdresser School considers it to be its main priority that the beauty industry represents itself by the widest possible spectrum of its participants. Guided by this objective, we are inviting not only hairdressers, but also students, professional hairstylists, teachers, amateurs and everyone interested in this profession to apply to take part in the competition.
Any hairdresser may send in their application inside and outside the borders of Hungary who wishes to present their knowledge within this profession.
During the all-day event, along with the presentation of the newest braiding-styles, competitions, workshops, professional education, amazing shows, product showcases and programs await representatives of the profession and others who are interested.
